Slime, now this is something that lends its way into several avenues of fun.  We played with slime, stretched it, rolled it up into a ball and tossed it, pressed bugs into it, the ideas went on and on.

SNEAK IN A HEALTHY YUMM...

Mommy, Daddy, I'm thirsty, and my mouth is all dried up.  I don't want milk or other yukky healthy things.  Can you put some yummy pepsi in my cup?

Strategic movemens are required.  Stealth mode is the key.  Parents need to pull out all the stops to figure out how to manipulate their children's snacks and drinks to show the illusion of "junk food".  Here are a few "summer soldiers" to go into battle for you and take on your little rebels with healthy full force.

Frozen Lava Drink - This soldier has gone into battle many times, metal for bravery was his reward.  46oz. pineapple juice, 40 (oz. coco lopez (cream of coconut, it's in a can), 1 pint half and  half,  ice,  frozen strawberries in syrup, 7 tablespoons water, clear cups, straws

It's one part pineapple juiced to one part coco lopez.  Three cans of coc lopezo one big can of pineapple juice.  Add half and half until it turns white (about 1 pint half and half).  In a separate bowl puree strawberries, suguar and water.  Or you can puree frozen strawberries in syrup with a little water that sems to work a litle better.  You want it to be somewhat thick, almost a syrup texture.  Pour strawberries in the cup about a half an inch to an inch high.  Put ice in your blender and pour the coconut mix in until it's at an even height with the ice. Blend, then pour in the cujp with strawberry mix.  The strawberries should come up the sides of the cup.  If idoesn't work, either thin out your strawberries a little bit, or before pouring the coconut, take the cup and swish the strawberries around so they stick on the sides of the cup.

Groovy Green Monster - This soldier uses the art of disguise to infiltrate his enemies.

Place a banana, grapes, yogurtg, apple and spinach into a blender.  Cover and blend until smooth, stopping frequently to push down anything stuck to the sides.  Pour into glasses and serve.

3 Berry Infused Water Drink - This soldier's expertise is stealth mode.  Kids have no clue what is involved, all they know is that they like it!

Frozen blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries.  Use a ratio of 2 cups of equally mixed berries per gallon of water.  Use more berries for a stronger flavor.  Wash your berries thoroughly under running water.  Crush some of the berries gently to release the juice and flavor  Add 1 gallon of water over the berries.  Place a lid over the top of the pitcher and let the mixture sit for several hours or overnight.  You can also use the refrigerator if you are afraid of mold developing.  Serve the water with or without pieces of berries.
